What is the Sciento Gateway?

Sciento Gateway moves lab data to the cloud, automatically.

It ingests files from instruments such as slide scanners and sends them to cloud storage (e.g. AWS, Azure). Use your own account, or one managed by Sciento. Any file type: whole slide images, genomics datasets, instrument assays.

Used by pharma, healthcare, and biotech organisations handling high volumes of large images and datasets.

How does the Sciento Gateway work?

  • 1 – Capture: Gateway picks up files from your instrument.
  • 2 – Cache: Recent files are held locally.
  • 3 – Upload: Files move once, automatically, to a secure cloud location.
  • 4 – Use: View, share, and analyse your data in the cloud.
